Fun fact, did you know this game was meant to be a RPG?

Anyways, here are the latest thoughts about Magitopia!

The game has been feeling a little lacking, since it does not have a proper “end goal” yet. However, after bouncing ideas back and forth with a friend, I arrived to a few ideas that could really add to the game.

First, adding a different environment for the player to explore could incentivise more playtime and more engagement. 

Then, adding a proper end goal. This was trickier, as I didnt want it to feel like it had to be rushed. But we found a solution to that that works with my current mechanics. 

Here is a summary: In the game world, it hasn’t rained in a while, and a great dragon has gone missing. It is said that one can entice it to return with an offering of its favourite food, a very rare fruit from a faraway land. The seed for this fruit is expensive and takes a lot of time to grow. The goal is to make enough money to buy the seed, grow it, and bring the dragon back.
