I’ve had a lot of feedback concerning my game and what was needed to make it better. 

For starters, the player had little reason to leave the starting area when playing, and could play the game by just planting and harvesting plants over and over without much of a goal. This was caused by multiple factors like the fact that some potions’ ingredients could just be grown, or that the player was not really informed of the brewing mechanics at all meaning they were pretty lost and could not progress. 

I remediated that by first changing the recipes of all the potions to contain both a farmed and foraged ingredient. That way, the player had to explore to find what they need to be able to progress. I also made a short tutorial to teach the player that their ingredients can be both grown and found, as well as how to make and sell the potions, and where to do so.
